Who we are?
KLR SR Engineering was founded in 2016 by a group of experienced professionals with a deep understanding of the rig and drilling industry. Our journey began with the distribution of industrial lubricants, where we gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by customers in daily operations. This hands-on experience helped us build a strong foundation and motivated us to expand into manufacturing. In 2017, we partnered with KLR Industries, Hyderabad, to begin the production of friction welding drilling rods and Induction Hardeing. Since then, we have grown significantly, serving over 1500 customers and supporting more than 2500 vehicles. Our success is built on trust, quality, and our ability to provide practical solutions tailored to customer needs. We take pride in our strong industry connections and continuous growth. Today, we are recognized as a reliable manufacturer committed to delivering high-performance products and excellent customer service.
What we do?
At KLR SR Engineering, we specialize in the manufacturing of high-quality friction welding drilling rods designed for superior performance and durability. Our production process begins with sourcing premium-grade pipes such as ISMT, Jindal Gold, and ONGC oil-grade materials. These pipes are then cut according to customer requirements and fitted with specially designed adaptors on both ends. Using friction welding, the adaptors are securely joined to ensure strong and reliable connections. The rods then undergo stress relieving at high temperatures to remove internal defects, followed by induction hardening to improve hardness and wear resistance. Oil tempering is performed to enhance toughness and reduce brittleness. Additional welding reinforcement is applied to strengthen the joints and improve in Adapters Life, and any bending caused during processing is corrected through precise straightening. Each rod is carefully inspected before delivery, ensuring that our customers receive products that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
